![]() Honestly, you are unlikely to find the one in your first pass. If you keep playing on a server for more than a couple weeks, you have probably found your server, great job, and congratulations! If you decide a red flag is thrown at any point, its probably a good idea to trash the server, its unlikely that it is what you want. Do they meet your expectations for maturity? When you ask a question, is it shot down, or answered politely? Attempt to speak to an admin, are they nice, or cold and aloof?Īny servers that you didn't eliminate in step 3 are probably fairly close to what you want. If you aren't having fun at the end of the hour, delete it, unless you have a good reason not to. Try each server that has potential for one hour. -bad economy (any plugins that would hurt economy, item spawning, op rewards for mob arena, ludicrous voting rewards, etc)Ģd: write down the IPs of any still open tabs, after eliminating any servers that throw up red flags.-spelling mistakes on main website (shows lack of maturity). ![]() -donation page shows obvious pay-to-win, especially god mode, item spawning, or heaven forbid, mod powers such as banning.-no players online (players online shown on, which is why I use it).Step 2: Develop a short list of potential serversĢb: sort through the first few pages of server, open any servers that have the potential to meet your criteria in new tabsĢc: develop a list of red flags that will immediately disqualify a server, and quickly eliminate servers, just with their website -well implemented PVP (personal preference, I like building traps etc, this wont be on everyones list). ![]()
